Virtual Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an administrative assistant to perform various administrative duties from your office. One on one training, training manual for reference and ongoing support are provided. Examples of work are available upon request. You will be required to work 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday, times are flexible. Opportunity to a full-time position may be possible in the next 3-6 months.

Successful candidate must:

oHave excellent English communication skills
oCustomer service experience
oAt least 2 years’ experience related to marketing
oBasic WordPress or other website builder knowledge/experience
oBasic photo and video editing experience
oBe able to research effectively to develop content for blog, newsletters, etc.
oWriting (blog, newsletter, social media posts) experience
oBasic knowledge of Google products (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
oReliable, highspeed internet connection

The following experience is not required but would be considered an asset:

oArt (drawing, painting, pottery, etc.)
oBasic video editing (we currently use iMovie)
oWordPress website development

Duties include:

oSocial media (mainly Facebook) management
oBasic photo and video editing
oDigital file organizing
oEvent Espresso tasks – manage registration system (WordPress plugin used for event registration)
oBlog and newsletter writing
oOnline research (example – finding contact information of people in certain positions)
oOther general administrative tasks

We pay the agreed rate on the 1st and 15th of the month by PayPal or other agreed upon method.

This is a new position with the duties currently being performed by the owner. If you possess the skills to complete all or most of the above tasks, please contact us for more information.

After successful interview, a fully paid 10-hour trial session will take place to perform sample duties prior to hiring.
